Second Shoot

After our first shoot we gathered alot of footage to use for editing, however we still needed to get more narrative shots. The majority of our location for the video is in a house. A problem we discovered after seeing the footage was that we had not used the rule of thirds, which we remembered during the second shoot. The difficulties we have faced with that is that it is sometimes difficult filming in a confined area. We also had difficulties in filming panning shots as the ground is not completely flat to get a smooth pan.

During our second shoot we experimented more with POV shots. This were mainly from the alcoholic mothers perspective. The major problem with filming in someone elses house is the mise-en-scene. We had problems in re-arranging furniture to suit us but we got the desired look in the end.
